Will this make my site "ADA compliant"?
No tool can promise that, and we don't. Automated checks catch a meaningful share of common accessibility barriers, but not all of them; full conformance needs manual testing with assistive technology. Scanvella shows you the most-cited, highest-risk issues and how to fix them, so you can make real, documented progress.
Is this legal advice?
No. Scanvella is an automated technical scan. If you've received a demand letter or a regulator's notice, talk to a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.
What does the scanner actually do to my site?
It makes a few ordinary read-only requests: your homepage, robots.txt, sitemap, a small sample of internal links, and a check of whether common sensitive files (like /.git/HEAD or /.env) are publicly reachable. We never log in, submit forms, or try to exploit anything. We also look up public DNS (SPF, DMARC) and certificate-transparency records.
Why do some results say "heuristic"?
Some things can't be proven from a page's HTML alone. For example, whether a cookie banner really blocks trackers until consent. We label those results so you know to double-check them.
Are accessibility widgets/overlays enough?
Overlays don't fix the underlying code. In 2025 the US FTC ordered accessiBe to pay $1M over its compliance claims, and roughly a quarter of 2025 ADA website lawsuits targeted sites that had a widget installed. Fix the root issues; Scanvella shows you where they are.
Which countries do you cover?
Checks are based on international standards (WCAG 2.1) and common requirements in the US, EU, UK, Australia and the Gulf states. The report notes which regions your site appears to target.
